Los Angeles, CA July 28, 2004 -- Adventure Girl, Stefanie Michaels, will be visiting the Fijian Islands in the South Pacific through August 10th. Michaels, a travel expert and writer, will be covering more than 22 islands, compiling information for stories that will appear in print and for on-air media tours. Michaels will also be covering the islands for the premier issue of her personalized series of adventure books.

"I am excited to get there to see what Fiji has to offer. I have read and heard so much about the islands, and with it's terrorist free atmosphere, I really think it will become the new Tahiti for a lot of Americans faced with concerns for safety in travel," states Michaels.

Covering 22 of the 330 islands, Michaels will be traveling to Nadi, then onto the Yasawa Islands and venturing to the Mamanuca Island chain. Only about 100 islands are inhabited. "There is such a diversity to the many islands. One island might offer up rainforests, and another a desert arid environment, to the main island of Nadi, which is the main center for transportation and government," explains Michaels. "It's an environmental educational wonderland, that I can't wait to delve into."

Michaels will be seeking out adventures such as scuba diving, hiking, exploration, as well as topics- where to Surf, getting married Fiji style, honeymooning in Fiji, epicurean delights, cruising the Fijian Islands, Best Spas and Resorts of the islands, The Blue Lagoon Cruise, and family islands of Fiji.
